Every year I donate 10% of album sales to amazing organizations. This year I sponsored a buoy with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy- based right here on Cape Cod! Their mission: "Support scientific research, improve public safety, and educate the community, to inspire conservation of Atlantic white sharks." Their vision: "Increase knowledge of Atlantic white sharks and change public perception to conserve the species and ensure biologically diverse marine ecosystems."
We took a small boat from the Wequassett, in Harwich, to a private beach for this beautiful family session. Half the adventure was getting there- the girls loved it! The beauty of the beach and sun on a deserted island was perfect. After a short time exploring, he let the girls in on the secret, and then proposed! This family of four enjoyed the rest of their time walking in the sand, splashing in the water, collecting shells. The ride back turned into a mini seal watch! So many memories that will last forever. Another unique family session on Cape Cod!

Full service boutique photography studio opens in Harwich Port
Harwich Port, Massachusetts - June 1, 2016 - LYDIA LECLAIR PHOTOGRAPHY will host a grand opening June 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a ribbon cutting at 1:30 p.m.
A family and wedding photography studio is opening in Harwich Port, across from the Harwich Chamber of Commerce. This brand new studio space will serve as a gallery, client meeting room, and small shop of unique photography items and gifts.
Lydia Leclair is an on-location photographer offering modern portrait sessions (family, children, generations) and stunning wedding photography. As a full service photographer, Lydia spends time with each family reviewing their images and assisting them in product selection and album design. Offering truly unique high-quality prints, albums, and wall art, Lydia helps families create their photo legacy with tangible heirloom products to be passed down for generations.
Lydia has been a photographer for over ten years and her work has been featured on the following sites: Fearless Photographers, Lemonade and Lenses, Black Sheep Bride, Boundary Stone Baby, Borrowed & Blue, The Daily Dog Tag, Equal and Forever, and Gear Patrol. She has also photographed for Ergobaby and often volunteers her services for local organizations and children/family events. Additionally, a portion of all album sales are donated to good causes.

I met this beautiful couple at Stony Brook Grist Mill in Brewster MA for a wonderful evening session. Their wedding theme: vintage & travel... so it was only fitting they brought some amazing props- old cameras and suitcases. They had a great time exploring the area, and then we went just a mile up the road for some beach time with beautiful light at Paines Creek Landing and Beach. The love these two have for each other is so simple and pure, and even though they were nervous about being in front of the camera, they were at ease with each other. I'm really looking forward to their June wedding!
I couldn't be more in love with the scenery for this session!! I took the ferry over to Nantucket..... for a beautiful evening with this amazing family. Sun, sand, and a whole lot of fun! We started out walking around the streets and then headed to Brant Point Lighthouse.
