This page is intended to outline the business policies and procedures used by Lydia Leclair Photography.

Copyright Information: All images are copyrighted by Lydia Leclair Photography. It is illegal and unlawful to scan, copy, or reproduce images by Lydia Leclair in any manner or medium. As an artist, Lydia wishes to have complete control over the final look of her client's images, and copied or edited images damages her reputation as a photographer by distorting and devaluing the image quality. Thank you for respecting Lydia Leclair’s work and livelihood by choosing not to alter or reproduce her images.

Orders: All orders must be made and paid in full at the Viewing & Ordering session. Anyone wishing to place an order must be present, or schedule their own appointment. 

Exclusive Photographer: Please only bring the people that will be photographed to the session. Also, please do not bring your own camera, phone, or other recording device to the session. Please do no take picture during the session. 

Before Your Session: Please have your children dressed and ready to go- this includes hair combing and having their faces clean (wipe mouth, nose, eyes); children are more likely to become grouchy if they are fussed with too much at or during the session.

Product order: Your final product order will be delivered approximately 4-6 weeks after your Viewing & Ordering session. If there is any problem with your order, contact me immediately so we can remedy the situation.

Minimum Purchase: There is no minimum order required- the total investment is flexible and entirely up to you. Some clients spend $400, while others spend up to $4,000+.

Retainer Policy: A non-refundable deposit (the creative fee) for your session is due at the time of booking and signing the contract in order to guarantee the time and date allotted for you. Should payment not be received in this time frame, Lydia Leclair reserves the right to offer the date and time to another client.

All sales are final: Due to the custom nature of your products, all sales final. 

Albums: I design all albums- you get one preview and opportunity to make any changes you would like. 

Retouching: Any retouching beyond the basic retouching (blemishes, small facial scars) will be charged a fee starting at $25.

Re-Shoots: Re-shoots are at the discretion of the photographer and are not given for regretful personal choices such as hair and clothing. In the case of bad weather, we will reschedule. 

Sick kids: If your child is feeling ill that is totally understandable and we can reschedule. If you must cancel, please try to do so at least 24 hours before your session.

Travel Fee: There is a travel fee for off-Cape sessions and events, starting at $50. 

Payment Options: Lydia LeclairPhotography accepts cash or check only- checks returned by the bank, for any reason, will be charged a $25.00 service charge.

Image Usage: Lydia Leclair Photography reserves the right to use the images for display, publication, or other purposes and in any medium. Originals remain the property of Lydia Leclair Photography.
