Get to know your Cape Cod Photographer
Whether we have met and worked together or not, I would like to introduce/ reintroduce myself! I am a full-time photographer based in Harwich Port, and I travel all over the Cape from Provincetown to Falmouth photographing families, children, couples, and surprise wedding proposals. I grew up in Longmeadow (Western Mass) and would come to the Cape every summer to visit my grandparents. I’ve been photographing my whole life, beginning on my dad’s Canon film camera in middle school. After traveling all over the world and finishing graduate school, I started my photography business in 2008, then moved to Colorado, and eventually ended up here year-round! 🐳
Why I love photography
Quite simply, there is no other job I would rather be doing! Photography has a special place in my heart, as there is a certain magic to it. I love translating and capturing someone’s heart and soul, their true self on a still image. What has always blown my mind is that an image years and decades later can spark a feeling, transport you back, and evoke emotions. Giving the gift of spirit, love, and connection in a piece of art is truly what I love most about what I do. Photographs are mini time machines, mini nostalgic time capsules that keep giving back over time. 📷
What’s new at the studio
Exciting new changes are coming to the studio! I’ve been in the same space for over 7 years [doing photography for 25+ years, and in business for more than 12 years], and this year the studio will ALSO be a gallery and retail shop of my original fine art photography.
